Team Chat & Messaging
Communicate with your team through group chat, direct messages, and built-in support chat.
OfficeHubb includes a built-in chat system so your team can communicate without leaving the platform. Open it from the chat button in the top bar (Growth plan and up).
What's in the chat panel
The panel slides out from the right and is organized into tabs:
- Team — one shared room for your whole agency.
- DMs — private one-on-one conversations with teammates.
- Clients — your client inbox: every client's email and text conversation in one place (see the Client Messaging & Outreach guide).
- Agency AI — ask questions about your own agency data (Full Package).
Support has its own button — and a floating Support launcher is available on every page and every plan, so help is never more than a click away.
Team chat and DMs
- Real-time — messages arrive instantly, with typing indicators so you can see a reply coming.
- Attachments — share images and PDFs (up to 10 MB) with an optional caption. Images preview right in the conversation.
- Reactions and replies — react with an emoji, or reply to a specific message with a quoted preview.
- Edit and delete — fix or remove your own messages; edited messages are marked.
- Read receipts — in DMs, see when your message was read.
- Presence — a green dot means that teammate has OfficeHubb open right now.
- Unread handling — badges on the chat button and each tab, plus a "New" divider marking exactly where you left off. An optional sound plays for incoming messages; toggle it from your avatar menu.
OfficeHubb support chat
An AI assistant answers first — instantly, using OfficeHubb's own documentation and your account context (your role, your plan, your setup), so answers are specific to you.
If you need a human, one joins the same conversation — billing questions and anything sensitive are escalated to a real person automatically. Resolved threads show a checkmark; replying reopens them.
Tips
- Use Team chat for anything the whole agency should see; DMs for quick one-on-ones.
- The Clients tab is for talking to *clients*; Team and DMs are for talking to *each other*.
- Notifications for team messages also land in the notification bell, so you won't miss them while the panel is closed.
