Sales, Commissions & Bonuses

Review the basics of sales reporting, commission visibility, and bonus tracking without exposing internal payout logic.

OfficeHubb tracks the whole money side of the agency: logging sales, approving them, calculating commissions automatically, and running bonus contests.

Sales reporting

Available on every plan. Log a sale from the Sales page or straight from the pipeline when a card hits Sold.

  • Multiple policies per sale — each with its product (Auto, Home, Life, Flood, and more), premium, carrier from your agency's configured list, policy number, and effective date.
  • Transaction types — new customer, existing client, or re-write/replacement.
  • Service team credit — credit a service teammate who helped land it.
  • Sale records — a filterable table (by agent, product, carrier, date range) with running totals and CSV export.
  • Owner approvals — the owner can review team-reported sales and approve or reject them; rejected sales never count toward commissions or goals.
  • AMS follow-through — if your agency uses an AMS, OfficeHubb nudges you to file each sale there and tracks which ones still need filing.

Commissions

The Compensation area (Growth plan and up) turns logged sales into earnings automatically.

  • Plans per team member — flat rate, tiered brackets that step up with monthly production, or a growing scale. Measured by premium dollars, policy count, or vehicle count.
  • A guided setup wizard — build the scale, stress-test the payout with example scenarios, optionally set a monthly quota, and print a signable commission agreement at the end.
  • Personal commission dashboards — each team member sees their month so far: earnings, current rate and tier, quota progress with pace tracking, "+1 / +5 / +10 more policies" projections, an all-time achievements view, and a what-if calculator.

Only the Agent (owner) creates or changes commission plans. Staff see their own dashboard; the owner can view anyone's.

Bonuses

Bonus campaigns — contests and incentive pushes with eligibility rules, metric-based conditions, and a prize — run alongside commission plans. See the Bonuses & Incentives guide for the full picture.

Common questions

Who can manage compensation setup? The Agent (owner) role only — commission plans and bonuses are owner-controlled. Managers can edit sale records, but not plans.

Why is a sale missing from a report? Check the filters and date range first, then whether the sale is still pending approval or was rejected.

When do commissions count? Toward the month the sale was sold, so monthly totals line up with production — not with when the math was run.
